Mekane Yesus Seminary, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is one of the most prestigious theological institutions in the region. Established in 1958, the seminary has been at the forefront of theological education, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve the church and the broader community.

One of the notable programs offered by Mekane Yesus Seminary is the Post-Graduate Diploma program. This program is a one year (Regular) and a two years’ (Part- time) program. It is designed for individuals who already completed a bachelor's degree in any academic field.

The Post-Graduate Diploma program at Mekane Yesus Seminary is led by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. These individuals have a deep understanding of the theological landscape and are committed to equipping students with the necessary tools to excel in their ministries.

Bachelors degree

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in theology or any field from an accredited institution.

Academic Transcripts

 

Applicants must submit official academic transcripts from their previous undergraduate studies.

Enterance Exam

All applicants are required to take an English proficiency exam as part of the admissions process. In addition to the English exam, applicants must also take a comprehensive biblical exam.

The registration for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open from August 10-12, 2024. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the seminary campus during work hours to complete the registration process.
