Gudina Tumsa Theological Symposium at Mekane Yesus Seminary has officially begun

The Gudina Tumsa Theological Symposium at Mekane Yesus Seminary has just begun and is already unfolding in a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere.

The program opened with uplifting songs of praise, setting a spiritually enriching tone for all participants. This was followed by a warm and powerful opening address from Rev. Misgana Mathewos, who welcomed attendees and highlighted the importance of reflecting on the legacy and witness of Gudina Tumsa.

Following the opening session, Dr. Samuel Yonas introduced the speaker for the first session. The symposium is now in progress, with Dr. Mark Schuler sharing his insights on the prophetic witness of Gudina Tumsa, engaging participants in deep reflection and discussion.

We are grateful for such a wonderful beginning to the symposium. From the very first moments, the gathering has been marked by inspiring presentations, engaging Q&A sessions, and a hall filled with participants eager to reflect on this important theme. The energy, thoughtful discussions, and strong participation are already making the experience meaningful and vibrant.

As the symposium continues, there is great anticipation for the sessions ahead. Participants can look forward to more enriching presentations, including contributions from speakers such as Dr. Sigurd Grindheim, alongside moments of reflection, meaningful dialogue, and fellowship.

This gathering promises not only a time of learning, but also an opportunity to build connections and carry forward the important conversations inspired by the life and witness of Gudina Tumsa.
